  • Instructing New Hire, Core, Formal on-the-job, State-Specific, Supplemental, and Advanced training and certification courses for Traffic Control Employees, Supervisory
  • Employees, Management Employees, and outside customers;
  • Maintain required documentation for every training course they instruct;
  • Mentor and develop the Trainers within their Region;
  • Develop training in accordance with state, customer, Company requirements and policies;
  • Effectively implement and reinforce Company policy through integrated training, inspections, and audits;
  • Provide meaningful input on employee performance based on first-hand observations;
  • Administer the Company progressive disciplinary policy up to and including termination;
  • Become an expert in work zone temporary traffic control through involvement in professional organizations and continuing education;
  • Maintain traffic control, safety, supervisor, and instructor credentials; and
  • Perform other duties autonomously as assigned by the Safety Department;


Required Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)
  • Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years (10,000 hours) temporary traffic control, or equivalent experience
  • Two (2) - Three (3) years of Instructional Experience
  • One (1 ) - Three (3) years of Management Experience
  • ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification
