Responsibilities

  • Gather information from clients and on-line data sources needed to produce proposals for future and immediate projects.
  • Perform material take-offs from engineer drawings and industry standards.
  • Analyze plans to determine labor costs associated with the delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of materials.
  • Consult with operations staff to determine most cost effective route to producing competitive and accurate estimates for projects.
  • Gather information from inside sources and outside vendors to determine current material costs.
  • Interact with clients and engineers to ensure project specific data is up to date and accurate.
  • Attend meetings both on and off site with clients.
  • Assist operations staff in facilitating scheduling, material acquisitions, invoicing, customer relations and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of construction concepts and practices.
  • Ability to interpret plans and construction documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through oral and written means
  • Excellent customer service and friendly demeanor.
