    We are looking for a 
    full-time, experienced Estimator for our Corporate Office in Canton, OH. He or she must be a self-starter, personally well-organized/detailed, honest, ethical and willing to create new business. The candidate should enjoy being an important part of a growing company with a take-ownership personality and seeking long term employment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Assimilate and analyze all available information to compile into a proposal estimate.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work.
    • Complete proposals including bid documents, determining the project’s scope and evaluating special conditions affecting the proposal (including site conditions, access, personnel and equipment needs).
    • Review and clarify proposals and negotiate projects.
    • Prepare estimates based on time, manpower requirements, equipment costs and specifications.
    • Track and follow up on proposals.
    • Prepare preliminary schedules for all successfully awarded projects.
    • Manage multiple project estimates simultaneously.
    • Contact current and potential clients in a sales capacity.

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-year experience; Construction Industry a plus.
    • College degree in Construction Management or Engineering a plus.
    • Ability to accurately bid projects.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as meticulous attention to detail.
    • Successful track record with scheduling and budgeting.
    • Ability to establish and build customer relationships.
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
