    The Billing and Collections Manager will be responsible for leading the mission of protecting our customers, people, businesses and time. This position will assist with new customer onboarding, payment resolution and supporting the management team. The Billing and Collections Manager will be involved in troubleshooting client issues and creating a path to resolve past due balances. This role is responsible for collaboration across all levels to achieve departmental and organizational goals.



    • Manage Collections team including training on software systems and processes
    • Assist and manage new customer onboarding and pricing changes, which may include leading investigations and resolving issues
    • Make outgoing collection calls, review customer receivables and coordinate payment resolution
    • Determine appropriate collection strategy for individual clients
    • Support staff in meeting goals, while remaining compliant with company standards and federal collection laws
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
    • Facilitate the reduction of delinquent accounts
    • Effectively communicate with internal management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
    • Maintain and monitor key assigned accounts and resolve day to day issues
    • Communicate and follow up timely with the billing department regarding customer accounts
    • Responsible for training, coaching and team building efforts
    • Responsible for billing and collections in the Texas Region
    • Conducts performance evaluations for their team according to organization guidelines
    • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned



    • Highschool Diploma or GED Required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 5-7 years’ AR/Billing supervisor experience required
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly shift priorities
    • Intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail
    • Problem-solving skills and Critical thinking skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, employees and clients
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
    • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Salesforce software preferred


    Employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:

    • Hours of operation are typically 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., M-F
    • Primarily sedentary or working at a desk
    • Occasionally lift and move 10 -25 pounds
    • While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
    • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms
