    We are currently seeking a Full Time Collections Specialist at our Corporate office in North Canton, Ohio.

    Responsibilities

    • Make outgoing collections calls, review customer receivables and coordinate payment resolution.
    • Provide excellent customer service to customers and internal business units regarding collection issues 
    • Reduce the delinquency for assigned accounts
    • Enlist the efforts of management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
    • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts.
    • Communicate and follow up effectively with the billing department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
    • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with clients

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma
    • 2-3 years out-bound call-center collections experience
    • Strong Customer service skills
    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology; strong math skills.
    • Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers both verbally and in writing.
    • Intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail; organized.
    • Outgoing & assertive personality – not afraid to approach individuals.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word).
    • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains software preferred.
